Accessing the potential feasibility of a project is crucial from the outset. The Research Workshop provides valuable historical information to support those responsible for making such value judgements.

Limehouse Basin
Report on the historical evolution of this important 16th century commercial and shipbuilding center, the expansion of the district in Georgian times, and finally the development of the 19th century docks. The extension of the Regent's Canal to Limehouse (1820) and the building of The London and Blackwell Railway link from Docklands to Fenchurch Street Station (1838) had an unprecedented effect upon the area. Modern transport links provided developers with the opportunity to enhance the distinctive historical character of Limehouse.

Kensington Village, West Cromwell Road
One of London's last remaining self-contained office campus sites comprising two former Whiteleys depositories (90,000 sq ft each), a modern infill block (30,000 sq ft) and undeveloped land providing an additional 100.000 sq ft within a four acre site. The project included new build offices and the conversion of the unmodernised depository as a business centre and short term serviced apartment accommodation (an 'apart hotel').
